Upcoming Wednesday Night Advent Events: December 6th- Church-wide Service Project, 7:15pm, December 13th- Bells of Peace Concert, 7:15pm, December 20th- Family of Peace Christmas Event, 6pm. Our Churchwide Advent Service Project will be this Wednesday at 7:15pm. We will be making baskets and gifts for organizations and first responders in our community to thank them for their service. There will be light snacks and appetizers served as well as games and fellowship time. Advent by Candlelight will be this Monday, December 4th at 7pm. If you would like to attend, please contact Cara Sealock, Katie Lingenfelter, Val Schardt, or Amber Kallhoff. This is a joy-filled event to prepare for the birth of our Savior. Please join us! Angel Tree: The Columbus Area Holiday Spirit Inc. is working to help families in need during this holiday season. Their focus is meeting the needs of children. If you are called to help a child this Christmas season, please take an angel from our tree. Gifts should be around $50 per child and should be returned unwrapped by Tuesday, December 12th. All donations stay locally in Columbus. December Mission Focus is Zane Miller, a missionary in Indonesia. Zane is partnered with Mission of Christ Network and is now serving on the island of Bali in Indonesia at a community youth center. Here, they share the gospel with the local youth through building relationships and leading “Discovery Bible Studies.” These relationships are built through different interest clubs at the youth center: coffee, English, soccer (football), and surfing. October Board Minutes and Financials are available in the church office. Poinsettias: If you would like to purchase a poinsettia for the Christmas Poinsettia Garden, please fill out and return the enclosed insert by noon, Dec.11th. You may take the poinsettia home after the Christmas services. Baptism: Charlie Lynner Kershaw will be baptized Sunday. Her parents are Evan and Connie.
