Parish Planning Study: As you heard last week, our planning study begins this week. Everyone in the congregation has been mailed a letter, asking for your participation. When you receive your letter, please do not set it aside. Please open it – and participate. New Member Class: You are invited to join Pastor Burma for a new member class on Sundays at 4pm in the conference room. Come and learn more about the Lutheran faith. Questions? Talk with Pastor Burma. Prayer in the Square for Life will be held this Sunday, September 15th, at 7:30pm at Frankfort Square. There will be a short presentation on the Protect Women and Children Initiative. Pastors from the Columbus area will be leading us in prayers. More Connect Groups are starting this week. We would encourage you to get connected and be in God’s Word together. There are groups on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. See the September Connections or our website for information. September Mission Focus is Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries. Motivated by God’s grace, Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries seeks to reach out with the love of Christ to support single expectant and postpartum mothers in their relationship with their Savior, as well as career, parenting, and life skills education. A Rummage Sale is coming up here at Peace as a fundraiser for Peace’s Youth for the 2025 National Youth Gathering. You can donate items on September 18th and 19th and shop September 19th-21st. See the September Connections for specific information on when you can donate and shop. Lutheran Women in Mission are gathering reams of paper for the three area Lutheran schools through October 12th. Please place paper in the box located by the hallway with the coat rack. Immanuel Lutheran School Extravaganza is coming on October 25 at the Family Life Center. Plan now to attend in support of Immanuel Lutheran School. Fruit Trees: There is still room for a few more fruit trees if you would like to donate one or for a memorial. Jonagold apples are ripe now and are available to anyone who would like to pick them.
