Summer Worship - From Acts to Action
Is our faith and our church still relevant? The answer is a resounding, “YES!” But only the Word of God, especially as it comes to us in the Acts of the Apostles, can make it so. This summer join us as we take a guided tour of the entire Book of Acts to see and learn anew how God is always working through His People, His leaders, and His church to grow His kingdom. The first century church changed the world for the better. The Lord of the church wants to use you and our congregation to do the same in the 21st century!
This series is based on the 90 day devotional “From Acts to Action” by Rev. Dr. William Utech. You can join this journey to missional living by purchasing this book the last two Sundays of May or the first Sunday of June ($10 per copy is the suggested donation).
Some connect groups will be using this as the focus of their Bible study as well.
The weekend sermons will focus on one of the key readings for the previous week. The schedule for June:
May 31-June 1: Acts 1:1-11 - The Mission
June 7-8: Acts 2:1-12 - The Beginning
June 14-15: Acts 4:1-22 - The Challenge
June 21-22: Acts 6:1-15 - More Challenges
June 28-29: Acts 9:1-22 -The Call
