What's Happening . . . September 2024

The last month has been a very busy one for Team Eden. It began with the North Central Regional meeting held at Trinity Lutheran church in Fremont on July 26 & 27. Twelve members of our team were certified in a Spiritual First Aid training class which will assist us in showing compassion to those we come in contact with. Then this past Sunday on August 18th, Team Eden traveled to Peace Lutheran Church in Grand Island for the commissioning service of Comfort Dog Meshach. Meshach is the 8th canine in the state of Nebraska bringing comfort to God’s people. With the kickoff of the school year, Team Eden will again be back and involved with the staff and students at the Immanuel Lutheran School. Eden has attended the joint church service and a meet and greet at the school so far this month. Team Eden will be at the school on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the school year. Regular visits were also made to Emerald Court, Brookestone Acres, Prairie Village, Heritage House, and the Edgewood Memory care unit. In addition we visited our local hospital and their Daycare facility this past month.
