What’s Happening… July

Eden and her team have continued to keep a very busy schedule offering comfort and being a presence for all of God’s people. On May 28th and 29th Comfort Dogs Eden, Joanna, and Michael were called to St. John’s Lutheran in Victory, Iowa for the funeral of a 13-year-old boy, Nolan Bayer, who died as a result of an ATV accident. His immediate family and friends were very appreciative of all our attendance.
 
Team Eden also attended the VBS, SCUBA, this past week held at Peace. Eden brought her calming character and demeanor for many of the younger children.
 
Eden and three other Comfort Dogs were also present on June 13th at a day camp for foster children in central Nebraska. It is truly amazing to watch these canines interact with these youth on a one-on-one situation.
 
Regular monthly visits were also completed at Prairie Village, Brookestone Acres, Heritage House, Real Life, Emerald Care, and the Columbus Community Hospital. As a result our team was able to share smiles and God’s peace with dozens of people in our community.
