What’s Happening… August

Team Eden will be traveling to Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont, Nebraska on July 26th and 27th to attend the North Central Regional Comfort Dog Conference. All teams from our tree state region will be in attendance, (Colorado, Kansas and Nebraska). The main emphasis for the meeting will be to give handlers a review of correct dog handling practices and improvement of their skills. In addition, all attendees will be taking a course on Spiritual First Aid training. The purpose of the training is to teach us how to better listen, interact and respond to an individuals needs that we may come in contact with during our visits. Nearly 90 attendees will be taking the course to improve their interaction skills.
Eden and her team have made fifteen facility visits along with one private home visit in the past month. It is truly amazing to see the smiles and relationships that have been established in our community with our team.
