Our Purpose

The main emphasis of our mission and vision statements is the making of disciples, followers of Jesus Christ who put their faith into action.  The next question then is ‘How do we to encourage discipleship at Peace?’

Our approach to discipleship simply looks at the process needed to move a person deeper along in the journey towards discipleship, focusing everything the church does as assisting in this process.
Our discipleship process is:
  • Rooted in Weekly Worship
  • Growing in Bible Study and Prayer
  • Connecting with Other Believers
  • Impacting our Community for Jesus

At the center of all we do is the cross of Christ.  On each corner is one of the four areas, indicated by a different color, in a circular pattern.  The process is not necessarily linear as listed above, rather a fluid progression and path.

The point is not the order, but that all four areas are important in our individual growth as a disciple of Jesus.
